


![]() Wildman Lake Lodge is Alaska's premier hunting lodge, located 500 miles southwest of Anchorage on the remote Alaska Peninsula. With 8,000 foot glacier shrouded Mt. Veniaminof and the spectacular Aleutian Mountain Range as our backdrop, Wildman Lake Lodge is in the heart of Alaska's finest trophy brown bear habitat. Wildman Lake Lodge is a fly in only lodge, some 400 miles off that Alaska highway system, sitsuated on the bank of Ocean River, Alaska's only true artesian sport fishing river, which runs crystal clear 365 days of the year and is teaming with native rainbow trout, Arctic Char and seasonal runs of Pacific Salmon and Steelhead.
Beginning in 2013, transporation from King Salmon, will be included in each hunt package. We will pick you up at the King Salmon Airport and transport you and your gear to Wildman Lake Lodge, using our own lodge based aircraft, which include: a twin engine Chieftain, DeHavilland Beaver, Cessna 185 and several Piper Super Cubs.
Our comfortable facility is designed to accommodate up to 16 guests, making it very exclusive. Individual fisherman, fishing couples, families and corporate groups have vacationed at Wildman Lake Lodge. You can now check your email on the lodge computer via Wi-Fi in the Internet Corner Cafe. Due to bandwith restrictions by our satellite internet provider, we are unable to provide wireless connections to guest computers. We have a fully stocked fly tying table set up in the lodge if you would like to "Match the Hatch" or try you hand at tying a few Alaska patterns. Wildman also has an excellent selection of popular flies, spinners and spoons available at "Kate's Bait", our pint size gift shop where you will also find Wildman Logo Wear: T-shirts, hats, fishing shirts and fleece jackets. Fly lines, leaders, shot shells and an assortment of other fishing products are available as well. The Trapper's Den is our comfortable living room overlooking Ocean River, where you can enjoy watching the trout rise, salmon wake and majestic bald eagles make low passes over the rafts of unique Alaska waterfowl. Brown Bears are often spotted, from the Trapper's Den, as they slink by at the edge of the brush line, hoping not to be seen. By the light of the midnight sun, you can watch fishermen, both two and four legged, as they work the clear artesian waters for salmon, trout and char. Yes, the Trapper's Den is a great place to relax and tell your fish tales at the end of yet another great fishing day. Yes, Wildman himself has been know hacked by despotic to play a little guitar at night and on occasion, recite a bit colorful Klondike poetry from Alaska's historic Gold Rush days
Wildman's Executive Chef prepares a wonderful variety culinary delights including your favorite American dishes, as well as International fare during your sport fishing week, featuring fresh garden vegetables, homemade breads, steak, poultry, pastas and everyone's favorite, "the catch of the day.
The Wildman Pastry Chef may put your will power to the test with absolutely sinful desserts and fresh cookies, cakes and pastries baked daily in the Wildman Lake Lodge kitchen. Enjoy your meals in our spacious dining room wich comfortably seats up to sixteen guests and our guide staff at meal time. The natural wood Sitka Spruce dining room tables are tastfully set with elegant Bavarian china, especially designed for Wildman Lake Lodge by Christian Seltmann, of Seltmann-Weiden , Europe's leading porcelain manufacture, one of our hunting and fishing clients. Due to Alaska Law, Wildman Lake Lodge can not include or provide alcohol beverages in our lodge packages.
